What we collect

We collect information you give us directly through our contact and newsletter forms — your name, email address, phone number, and any details about your project that you share. We also use Cloudflare's privacy-first Web Analytics, which counts visits without setting cookies or tracking individual users.

How we use it

Form submissions go to our team email so we can respond personally. Newsletter signups are used to send the Build Guide newsletter — one short letter a month — and nothing else. We don't sell, rent, or share contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.

How we store it

Form submissions are routed through Resend (our transactional email provider) to our team inboxes. Newsletter signups are stored only in the inboxes that receive them — we don't run a third-party mailing platform that profiles you.

Cookies

We don't set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free by design. If your browser stores anything, it's session state from forms you've started filling out — purely local, never sent anywhere.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Build Guide at any time using the link in every email. You can ask us to delete the contact information you've shared by emailing [email protected] — we'll remove your record from our inboxes within a few business days.

Children

Our site is intended for adults considering custom home construction. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Updates to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If we ever make material changes, we'll surface them on the homepage.
